Howard A. Sagaser

Howard A. Sagaser, a partner in the law firm of Sagaser, Jones & Helsley, was born in Hanford, California, on January 30, 1950. He grew up on the family’s cattle ranch near Avenal, California. Mr. Sagaser received a Bachelor of Science degree in farm management from Cal Poly State University at San Luis Obispo in 1973. At Cal Poly, he was named one of the outstanding seniors in agriculture. Mr. Sagaser attended law school at the University of California at Hastings in San Francisco, California, and he received his law degree in 1976. While in law school, he was an editorial associate for the Hastings Law Journal and served as an extern to Justice William P. Clark at the California Supreme Court. Mr. Sagaser graduated in the top ten percent of his class and is a member of the Order of Coif. He has been representing employers in employment litigation and labor law matters since 1976.
